Prince Dipangkara Rasmijoti of Thailand, (born 29 April 2005), is a member of the Thailand Royal Family, a grandson of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) of Thailand and the eldest legitimate son of Maha Vajiralongkorn, Crown Prince of Thailand. His mother is Princess Srirasmi, the Crown Prince's second legal wife. The Crown Prince also has a daughter by his first wife, and four sons and a daughter from a common law marriage, all half-siblings of Dipangkorn, but it has apparently been decided that Dipangkorn Rasmijoti will be Vajiralongkorn's heir. The prince is styled as His Royal Highness. A royal ceremony, called Phra Ratchaphithi Somphot Duan Lae Khuen Phra U, to celebrate the first month of the prince was held on June 17, 2005 at the Anantasamakom Throne Hall in Bangkok. By law of succession, Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti is second in the line of succession to the Thailand throne, after his father.
