Diocese of Menevia

The Diocese of Menevia is a Roman Catholic diocese based on Swansea, Wales

The diocese covers an area of 9,618 km² roughly consisting of the City and County of Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot, the traditional counties of Brecknockshire, Cardiganshire, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Radnorshire.

The see is in Swansea, where the seat is located at the Swansea Cathedral.

The Vicariate Apostolic of Wales was elevated to diocese status on May 12, 1898. The current bishop is the Right Reverend (John) Mark Jabalé, OSB, 10th Bishop of Menevia.
