Diocese of Charlottetown

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlottetown includes all of the province of Prince Edward Island.

Separated from the Archdiocese of Quebec in 1829, the Charlottetown Diocese is the second oldest English speaking diocese in Canada.

The twelfth and current Bishop of Charlottetown is the Most Reverend Vernon Fougere, D.D. The current Chancellor and Vicar General is Father Lyndon Hogan.

The cathedral of this diocese is St. Dunstan's Basilica in Charlottetown.
