From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is a landmark restaurant, blues venue, and biker bar in Syracuse, New York. Located in downtown Syracuse, it specializes in authentic barbecue, using a wood-fueled barbecue pit. The restaurant markets its sauce, pulled pork, chili, and baked beans at local supermarkets, and at Wegmans supermarkets across the Northeast. Two new locations have also been opened in Rochester, New York and Harlem, New York City.
In late November 2006, its Syracuse location was hit with the Norwalk Virus. Hundreds of customers and employees were affected. It is unclear how the virus materialized. Onondaga County have not found fault on the part of the restaurant. In fact, they have applauded the restaurant for its complicity and resolve [1]
