[edit] Thanks for the help

Thanks for this edit on the House (TV series) page. I had been browsing the Nursing Advocacy webpage earlier today trying to find that exact quote, but was unable to do so. Thanks for finding the source and adding it to the page. I hope you will continue to make edits at Wikipedia, and if there's anything I can do to help just let me know! [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Deakins.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Deakins.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 14:36, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Scrimmage

Thank you for checking the dictionary, since I was too lazy to. Since the term in the USA is mostly if not totally exclusive to American football, I thought it would be confusing to the reader. Wahkeenah 22:19, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A Bit of Fry and Laurie Episodes

Hi! Well, I'm not quite sure how this whole user talk thing is supposed to work if we both have seperate pages and so forth (I'm a bit new to most aspects of Wikipedia, this being the first article I've created, for example), so I'm replying to your message here. But anyway, since we have three more seasons left to go on the list, how about you take season 2 and the first half of 3, and I'll take the second half of three and 4. Does that sound OK? [edit] Edit summary

Hello. Please remember to always provide an edit summary. Thanks and happy editing. Steve block talk 07:45, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Giovanni brent paulsantino

I tagged it with {{prod}} which is proposed deletion, on second thought it is likely a hoax (but I'm not sure enough to speedy delete it). Feel free to drop me a line if you need anything :) -- Tawker 03:17, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reminder

When using template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template.

[edit] VandalProof 1.2 Now Available

After a lenghty, but much-needed Wikibreak, I'm happy to announce that version 1.2 of VandalProof is now available for download! Beyond fixing some of the most obnoxious bugs, like the persistent crash on start-up that many have experienced, version 1.2 also offers a wide variety of new features, including a stub-sorter, a global user whitelist and blacklist, navigational controls, and greater customization. You can find a full list of the new features here. While I believe this release to be a significant improvement over the last, it's nonetheless nowhere near the end of the line for VandalProof. Thanks to Rob Church, I now have an account on test.wikipedia.org with SysOp rights and have already been hard at work incorporating administrative tools into VandalProof, which I plan to make available in the near future. An example of one such SysOp tool that I'm working on incorporating is my simple history merge tool, which simplifies the process of performing history merges from one article into another. Anyway, if you haven't already, I'd encourage you to download and install version 1.2 and take it out for a test-drive. As always, your suggestions for improvement are always appreciated, and I hope that you will find this new version useful. Happy editing! --AmiDaniel (talk) 02:16, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
