DigiGuide is a popular television listings program for home computers, produced by GipsyMedia Limited. It is produced in the UK and runs under Microsoft Windows.

The main features of DigiGuide include:

  • automatic downloading and updating of listings.
  • ability to search listings by programme name, episode name, catagory and keywords.
  • default and user-created markers for highlighting programmes, series or search results.
  • customizable appearance settings (skins), plus various add-ins and extensions.
  • ability to report listings issues and support via forums and email.

While the majority of British television channels are already catered for, DigiGuide claim to support listings for any channel from any format, and encourages broadcasters to join the service. The program supports listings for the USA either via XMLTV, or Zap2It Data Direct using a converter. Users can also create their own listings for download into the program.

The software is available as a 30-day free trial. After this time it is paid for by subscription, which currently costs £8.99 per year. It operates a referral programme, with the incentive of subscription extensions for sucessful referrals.

The functionality of DigiGuide is also available using a browser and on portable devices via the separate myDigiGuide.com service.

The DigiGuide team is based in the seaside town of Exmouth, Devon. They describe themselves as more of a family business than a corporation.
