"Dig Up Her Bones" is a song by the Misfits. It was the seventh track and first single from their 1997 album American Psycho.
The song was written by lead singer Michale Graves sometime in 1991. The promotional singles released mainly to radio stations and vinyl copies also contained the song Hate the Living, Love the Dead[1]. The record versions are on blue vinyl.
The video for the single is made up of mostly live clips, scenes of Graves singing in a graveyard, and clips from The Bride of Frankenstein. 50 Videotapes were made for friends of the band including this video and the video for Abominable Dr. Phibes/American Psycho. it is also one of the only three misfits songs with a video, including the two previously mentioned and "Scream!". A low-quality video was also recorded while Danzig was still in the band for Braineaters, but was only given to friends and leaked through the internet. There is also an internet-only video for Monster Mash.
The cover of the single features the Bride of Frankenstein.
Atleast one copy is on black vynal with a black and white sleeve with identical matrix etchings exsists. It is owned by Fabian Karnoll of Leonberg, Germany, and assumed to be a test printing, but according to the Misfits, all copies are on blue vinyl with a blue sleeve, and claim this version is a bootleg.

[edit] Lyrics
Anything is what she is
Anywhere is where she's from
Anything is what she'll be
Anything as long as it's mine
And the door, it opens, is the way back in
Or is it, the way back out
Any place is where she'll be
Any place, she'll see you from
Lies and secrets become your world
Any time, anywhere, she takes me away
And death climbs up the steps one by one
To give you the rose
That's been burned by her sun
Point me to the sky above
I can't get there on my own
WALK me to the graveyard
Dig up her bones
I have seen the demon's face
I have heard of her death place
I fall down on my knees in praise of the
Horrible things that took her away
And death climbs up the steps one by one
To give you the rose
That's been burnt by her sun
Point me to the sky above
I can't get there on my own
WALK me to the graveyard
Dig up her bones
Point me to the sky above
I can't get there on my own
WALK me to the graveyard
Dig up her bones
Bones
