Dieter Brummer (born 5 May 1976, Sydney, Australia) is an Australian actor of German descent.
He is best known for his role as Shane Parrish on the television soap opera Home and Away from 1992 to 1996. His character, along with the characters wife, Angel, were one of the most popular couples that have been seen in the show. However, in real life, Dieter and Melissa George who played Angel reportedly did not get on too well. For this role the actor won two Logie awards for Most Popular Actor in 1995 and 1996
Brummer has also appeared in the hospital drama Medivac, Shark Bay (1996), the 1999 films Tom's Funeral and The Finder and the short-lived Sky TV series Crash Palace (2001) and in 2005 took part in the reality television series Celebrity Circus.
