Diego Klimowicz is an Argentine football striker. He was born on July 6, 1974, in the city of Quilmes in the Buenos Aires Province of Argentina. He currently plays for VfL Wolfsburg of the Fußball-Bundesliga in Germany.

Klimowicz started his career at Intstituto de Córdoba in the Argentine 2nd division in 1993. In 1996 he was sold to Rayo Vallecano of the Spanish Primera but at the end of his first season with the club they were relegated to the Segunda División. In his second season with the club they finished 8th failing to regain their place in la Liga.

In 1999 he was sold to Real Valladolid of La Liga, but after only one season with the club he returned to Argentina to play for Club Atlético Lanús. In 2002 he was transferred to his current club.
