Dicky Moore

Dicky Moore is a London based musician who plays guitar with Scritti Politti.

[edit] Previous Bands

Moore formed the band Scintillate in 1994 and wrote and played with them until they disbanded in 2005. Scintillate enjoyed local success in their hometown Southend, winning the 1997 battle of the bands competition, "It's a Rockout". They appeared on the ITV program "Young, Gifted and Broke" and the Channel 4 program "Pulp". Incidentally "Pulp" presenter Syd Moore is also Dicky Moore's sister.

Moore appeared briefly in the bands "Bates Motel", "Tipper" and "Is She Weird?" before moving to London and subsequently joining the short lived "Jupiter Drive".

Moore started playing guitar for Scritti Politti whilst they performed incognito under the moniker 'Double G and the Traitorous 3.

Moore is currently working on a side project, "Folk Devil and the Moral Panics".
