Richard Craig "Dick" Schofield (born November 21, 1962 in Springfield, Illinois) was a Major League Baseball shortstop who played a total of 14 seasons, spanning from 1983-1996. Schofield played the majority of his career with the California Angels, but played on the 1993 Toronto Blue Jays team that eventually won the World Series. Schofield did not play in the postseason that year, however.
Schofield returned to the Angels in 1995 and fished his career there the following season, playing his final game on September 29, 1996.
He is the son of former Major League Baseball player Ducky Schofield, and the uncle of current Los Angeles Dodgers left fielder Jayson Werth.
