Diane Denish

Diane Denish is the Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico, serving under Governor Bill Richardson. Diane is the first woman to be elected Lt. Governor in New Mexico's history. Diane was born in Hobbs, New Mexico. Diane has served as State Democratic Party Chair and on the New Mexico Commission on the Status of Women.
Married to Herb Denish, Diane has three grown children and one granddaughter.
She is running for reelection in 2006.
