Diana Carroll

Diane Carroll was the Liberal candidate for the 2006 SA election in the electoral district of Adelaide. She is a teacher at TAFE and UniSA and a former president of the Public Relations Institute of Australia amongst other jobs and lives within the city of Adelaide.

Carroll was preselected after Mark Brindal's withdrawal and was unopposed following the withdrawal of mortgage banker Derek Robertson's challenge. Carroll only gained a primary vote of 33.6% with a two party preferred vote of 39.8%. This was a swing of 9.2% to the sitting Labor MP Jane Lomax-Smith.
