The ninth original studio album from Japanese Recording Artist Gackt, DIABOLOS is a return to the storyline and theme of the MOON album, and is considered to be a sequel of sorts. Reworked versions of the previous three singles and their b-side tracks are spread throughout the album, and range from slight vocal variations ("ASH") to completely new additions to previous tracks ("noesis").
DIABOLOS features standout new tracks such as "Farewell", "Dispar", and "Future" to compliment the previously released singles. DIABOLOS also revives the Gackt tradition of the intro track, with the peaceful lead in "Misty", and shows a bit of a new musical direction with the tracks "Storm" and "ROAD".
