Dhuri

Dhuri is a city near Maler Kotla in Sangrur District in the state of Punjab in India. Dhuri is a railway junction. From Dhuri you can take trains for Patiala, Bathinda, Sangrur and Ludhiana routes. This area is known for producing great intellectuals, IAs officers, army officers, etc. It has one of the oldest sugar mill of India.[citation needed] Recently, a large modern Rice mill starts it functioning.[citation needed]
