Could you open an account in commons (http://commons.wikimedia.org ) and upload photos there with the Category:Bangladesh? This will make it easier to use the same photos in both English and Bangla wikipedias. Thanks. --Ragib 16:38, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

I am totally new in here so it will take a few days to get used to things but I guess I will be doing just fine. I have promised myself that I will uphold the image of my country abroad and my first step in doing so is posting all these pictures of modern Dhaka. I will keep posting and sorry to annoy you, but could you please keep organizing them in different articles until I am a veteran. I have already edited economy of Bangladesh. Even economy of Pakistan is full of nice pics so I wouldn't like Bangladesh to stay behind. After all, I am sure, any businessman or tourist would see these articles before having to do something with Bangladesh. I am trying to sign, please correct me if I am wrong. User:Dhakaiya


Sure, you are most welcome. In fact, we need more people like you from BD who can upload nice images. As I said, we also have a thriving Bangla wikipedia project, and if you upload the images to commons (link given above), we can use the same images there too.
To sign your messages, use 4 ~ characters, i.e. ~~~~. This automatically adds your sign.
Please check out commons page for BD images. We have already a good collection, but need more. So, upload there. And check out the Bangla wikipedia as well, you might sign up there (a tutorial is available here). As for the article Dhaka, I'll look into it pretty soon. Bangladesh is already a featured article (meaning wikipedia's best), so don't add too much content there for the time being. But please, keep uploading your images to commons. Just couldn't upload the Shangshad Bhaban at night photo however hard I would try. Always an error don't know why. Could you please tell me the reason for upload errors?

Not only doesn't the link work, but this photo hardly seems relevant to illustrate the general topic of Real estate. Should we then add photos of houses, offic buildings, etc?? NO.

Hi, I think you had left a message in Bangla wikipedia, but don't remember whether it was you were someone else. Anyway, the message was that the fonts are too small. Actually, if you are still using the Windows XP-default font Vrinda, that would appear as too small.

You can get more unicode bangla fonts from omicronlab.com . Also, set your settings to use larger font sizes when using those fonts . In firefox, it can be done at Tools->options->Content->Font and colors etc. etc.

Hallo, Yes, I agree with you userboxes let you know more about the person. I belive wikipedians should not be secretive, let people know who you are and where your from !! Yes, userboxes also show what you have in common with other people from around the world.
