Dezarie is born in the U.S. Virgin Islands. She is a female singer of reggae music.

She received Atlanta's "Best New Female Reggae Artist" award in 2001. Dezarie returned to her native island of St. Croix after that. She works closely with Midnite, the players of instruments for "Gracious Mama Africa" (2003).
