[edit] Wording
Note: This article needs a touch of cleanup. sentences such as "Mike Donovan will be the first victim of for us to see get 'Dextered'." should be reworded. Also, "Mike collapses perhaps unconscious, perhaps dead, onto the floor... Mike awakens to find himself taped to a table..." needs some work. Sentences such as "Much of our insights into Dexter will come from these running monologues..." needs to be reformetted into a more encyclopedia-type format. Somnabot 20:29, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re-Wording
This episode was not a pilot episode. A pilot episode is one that is produced for a proposed television series, which may, or may not be actually broadcast. This was the first episode of the series, not a "pilot"! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.30.5.160 (talk • contribs) 06:47, December 11, 2006 (UTC).
- Typically, the pilot is used as the first episode unless significant changes had to be made for the series run, like re-casting a major character. In rare cases, a series is greenlit without a pilot and immediately begins production. Which are you suggesting happened here? – Anþony talk 14:36, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
