Description

After trying to kill Buddha for 3 times, and being expelled from the Sangha and the subsequent loss of reputation and popularity, Devadatta feels bad about what he did, and wants to make a sincere apology to the Buddha, and ask for forgiveness. But after entering the monastery where Buddha was living at that time, some of the bad karma (actions) he made came to fruition; the earth opened, to draw his straight into the deepest hell: the terrible hell of Avici. Other monks se what's happening and are trying to come to his resque, but they are too far away.
