Deutscher Paket Dienst

DPD (Deutscher Paket Dienst GmbH & Co. KG) is a German parcel delivery company. It has more than 470 depots in more than 30 countries. The company was founded in 1977 in Aschaffenburg. In the first year of operation 1.4 million parcels were shipped, and by 1980 this figure had risen to 7 million. Today 1.4 million parcels are shipped every day.
