Dettah

A small Dene community just outside Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. Dettah is a 6.5 kilometre drive from Yellowknife by ice road in winter or a 27 kilometre drive on all-season road. Sometimes, it is spelt Detah.

Population is 182 according to the 2001 Census.

Dettah is the Dogrib name for Burnt Point, a traditional fish camp for the Dene for hundreds of years. Dettah and N'Dilo are the communities of the Yellowknives Dene.
