Detective Frank Harris

Frank Harris is a character played by Brad Pitt in the 1992 Ralph Bakshi film Cool World.
Frank Harris was a young man who returned home in 1945 to Nevada from serving the Allied Powers and the United States Armed Forces in World War II. Shortly after reuniting with his mother, Harris and his mother go out for a joyride on Harris' new motorcycle. But they collide with a drunk driver and Frank's mother Agatha Rose Harris is killed in the accident. Shortly thereafter, Frank is pulled into the Cool World by Dr. Vincent Whiskers. Doc Whiskers soon goes to the "Real" World to keep the balance of the two worlds steady.
Harris initially turned to a life of crime, but eventually becomes the head of Cool World's Police Department, and upholds the most important law in Cool World: humans (or Noids) and doodles (or toons) must never have sexual relations with each other. Harris never ages or dies while in Cool World, and in 1992, after nearly half a century, is as youthful, healthy and physically fit as he was just before entering the Cool World.
Over the first 47 years of his residence in Cool World, Harris eventually found a faithful if clumsy partner in the form of Nails The Spider and became the non-sexual boyfriend of Lonette, a cute brunette humanoid doodle woman who serves as a waitress. Detective Harris' most famous line in the movie is "Freeze, asshole. Cool World Police Department" as he stopped Jack Deebs because he knew that he about accompanying Holli and was about to have sex with her (which is the only prohibition under Cool World Society, as Frank indicates that 'anything goes' in Cool World). In the Super NES video game version, this line is censored to "You are under arrest."
But Harris also found some powerful foes, in the forms of the sexy blonde humanoid doodle woman Holli Would and her gang, Holli's Goons. Holli wants to have intercourse with a "real" person so she can become "real" and feel real things and enter the "Real World". She pulls Jack Deebs (a cartoonist who had visions of the Cool World and Holli) into the Cool World. Harris keeps a sharp eye on Holli and Deebs, but eventually Holli and Deebs have sex and Holli turns into a "real" person. Deebs and Holli heads to Deebs' home dimension/universe, but the barrier between the Cool and "Real" Worlds has been thrown out of balance and Deebs and Holli repeatedly turn into clown-like doodles.
Holli, killing Harris along the way, manages to find the Golden Spike of Power, which turns her back into a doodle and releases many monsterous doodles into the "Real" World. Deebs turns into a super-powered humanoid doodle (nicknamed "Super Jack") and puts the Golden Spike back into its place, but Deebs is stuck, maybe forever in the Cool World, but he has plans to marry Holli. Meanwhile, Nails finds Harris' dead body and takes him to Lonette, but because Holli was a doodle when she killed Harris, Harris himself becomes a doodle and he and Lonette can now have a sex life with each other.
