[edit] Requested move

Destiny is more well know a character than the other Destiny character from the Sandman title. The disambig page has been moved to Destiny (comicsdisambig). --DrBat 19:42, 18 November 2005 (UTC)

  • Oppose. Both Destinies are equally obscure characters. I've moved the disambig back. --Apostrophe 21:03, 18 November 2005 (UTC)
    • M-Destiny is more well-known than the Sandman Destiny. She was created long before the Sandman character, and has a major connection to the character Mystique. --DrBat 16:27, 19 November 2005 (UTC)
  • Oppose, as per Apostrophe. One could actually argue the opposite of what's suggested: DC's Destiny has a major connection to the character Dream/Morpheus, featured in his own miniseries, and he actually came first, although not by more than a few years (Weird Mystery Tales #1 predates X-Men #141). -Sean Curtin 01:18, 23 November 2005 (UTC)
  • Oppose based on mutual obscurity. Olessi 03:38, 22 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Outcome

The move request was not fulfilled due to lack of consensus. Rob Church Talk 12:58, 24 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Split

This article should become a disambiguation page between the three Marvel Comics Destinies and split into: Destiny (Irene Adler), Destiny (Paul Destine) and Destiny (cosmic entity).--Gonzalo84 01:49, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Support: The three Destinys have nothing in common beyond the name and that they are Marvel Comics characters. --Scottandrewhutchins 16:46, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Support per Scottandrewhutchins. The extra userboxes on the page are really awkward with so little text to go with them. I would suggest that all three characters be placed directly on the dab page at Destiny (disambiguation) as well, to minimize the number of clicks between destiny and the characters. —Celithemis 01:36, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
