I witnessed this artistic movement with my own eyes during its first wave and have shared words with those responsible. Suffice it to say that the geography for which this particular art and music resides is very important in understanding the moods and the words put forth. [edit] Robot Rock
I changed the part about Robot Rock being a subgenre. As far as I know, Robot Rock is not a recognized (sub)genre, and no other artists beside Josh Homme have described their music as Robot Rock or have been described as Robot Rock by other sources. Just because one man (Josh Homme) used the term once or even frequently to describe his own music, doesn't make it a subgenre. As of yet I didn't delete it from this article; I don't know what other people's opinions are? Greetings, (RagingR2 22:07, 11 September 2006 (UTC))
