Destiny is a fictional cosmic character in the Marvel Comics Universe created by Steve Gerber and George Tuska, whose first appearance was in Marvel Two-in-One #6.
[edit] History
Destiny was intended to be the embodiment of Destiny, in much the way the DC character is. This character was presumably (being mystical) killed and has never again appeared in a canonical story, although she appeared in a retelling of the story, in which she did not die, in Tales of the Thing #1 (May 2005). She appeared in the form of a dark-eyed teenage girl who wielded a powerful harmonica that she insisted Doctor Strange save at the expense of her own life when she was pushed in front of an oncoming subway train. In the Marvel Age retelling, she narrowly (thanks to The Thing) missed being hit by a car, and continued to participate in the story's similar events, and befriended the young boy added to the center of the story.
Her physical body was instantly destroyed upon beng hit by the train, leaving no debris save sparkling fragments representing a metaphysical dispersement of fate into the various characters' lives, and later she was able to communicate with Strange through the Eye of Agamotto, and her image appeared when she did so. This image dispersed as well, and she implied that her corporeal state was a random happening.
