Desk Drop
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Desk Drop is a term used in business communication. It relates the "dropping" of physical information, such as leaflets, brochures, marketting material, on the desks of workers. It is used to provide prominent information where the desire of the publisher is for the communication to persist beyond the initial read, such as communicating a success, or distribution of an updated cheat sheet. The drop is commonly performed overnight so that workers come in to work to find a desk drop waiting for them.
