From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Designomotion was one of the first broadcast design studios to embrace desktop technology. Founded in the mid 1990s, Designomotion designs innovative show openers, total show packages, commercial animation, and on-air promos. Its clients include Foote Cone and Belding, one of the oldest agencies in the United States, and Euro RSCG. Additionally, it consults for a wide range of production, editorial, and design companies, including Brand New School, Radical, Razorfish, and Eyeball. Network clients include CNBC, NBATV, Oxygen, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, Showtime, and MTV.

Highlights of the company include designing and animating a commercial for George Harrison of the Beatles. Another milestone for the studio was designing jumbotron animations that were played at the 2004 Olympics and 2006 World Cup. Most recently, they were commissioned by MTV to create high-definition programming for the 2006 Macy's Day Parade - on the world's fourth largest plasma television in Times Square.
