Desert of Sin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Desert of Sin or "Sin Wilderness" (Hebrew: מִדְבַּר סִין, Midbar Sin) is one of the places the Israelites camped at during the Exodus. It is somewhere in the location of Rephidim and between Elim and Sinai.

According to the Bible, while encamped in the Desert of Sin, the Israelites complained about the lack of food and water. God responded by providing them with flocks of quail for meat, and manna as a bread substitute.
