This entry, one of an unprecedented 52, has won the September 2005 West Dakota Prize, awarded for successfully employing the expression "legend states" in a complete sentence.
Needs explanation - which book/video game/etc. fictional "universe" is this from? I wish Wikipedia had different name-spaces for "fiction" and "fact".--Wtshymanski 06:05, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Err I don't understand your recent edits JarlaxleArtemis... you just reverted everything I wrote.
- First of all the ---- is supposed to be used only when there are two completely seperate meanings of the same word. In this case, the "Deros" note is applicable to the actual article, so in order to keep it seperate from the rest of it, a header is needed like ==Possible origins==
- The derro were first devised as monsters for the 1e D&D Monster Manual and had nothing to do with FR which at the time didn't exist. So the way you worded the first paragraph is confusing, and not in line with how other D&D monsters/races are written in the wikipedia (see Drow and Beholder).
