Derek Treacy

Derek Treacy, (born 6 April 1971 in Dublin) is an Irish football player who spent his entire senior career playing for Shamrock Rovers.
He made his debut in August 1989 and remained at the club for 17 seasons. On the 26th of May 2006 Derek announced his retirement. During his time he made almost 500 senior appearances and as a versatile midfielder played in every position except goalkeeper. He played under 11 managers and won 1 league championship in 1994 and scored in Europe.
He retires with the best wishes and deep gratitude of Rovers fans worldwide.
