Derek Popovich, born April 24, 1981 in Syracuse, New York, United States is a midfielder currently playing for American USL Second Division side Wilmington Hammerheads. He joined the Hammerheads in 2005 after two seasons with USL First Division team Atlanta Silverbacks. He started playing soccer whilst at Oswego State University.
He enjoys the outdoors and likes fishing. His favourite food is seafood. [1]
