[edit] Career

Deranged is one of the many wrestlers trained by Homicide. He made his debut February 8, 2000 at only 15 years old in a match against Ghost Shadow. Deranged began wrestling for Jersey All Pro Wrestling and in 2001 won the then vacant JAPW Light Heavyweight Championship by defeating Ghost Shadow. In 2002, after turning 18, he joined Ring of Honor as a member of Special K. This was a group of rich, raving stoners. He had his first match at Scramble Madness, losing a Scramble match. He would go on to compete in numerous more Scramble matches. At the first Death Before Dishonor, Special K was raving in the ring when Low Ki unexpectedly came out to break things up. Low Ki then defeated Deranged in a singles match. At Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies, Deranged won a Four Corner Survival Match against Hydro, Jonny Storm, and Slyk Wagner Brown. At Glory By Honor 2, Deranged had a chance to win the ROH World Tag Team Championship, teaming with Hydro in a Gauntlet match. They lost the first match to the Briscoe Brothers. In 2004, Deranged parted ways with Ring of Honor due to outside circumstances. At the time, Deranged was without a driver's license and had to rely on someone else to take him to shows, but carelessness on the part of this person led Deranged to miss some ROH shows and owner Gabe Sapolsky was forced to let him go.

Deranged also had a short run in Combat Zone Wrestling. He debuted at Best of the Best 3, but he lost his first match in the tournament to B-Boy. He wrestled with CZW for the next few months, but because of a double booking with JAPW and CZW on the night of CZW's biggest show, Cage of Death, Deranged was released from the company.

Deranged spent his time off from ROH and CZW wrestling for JAPW and USA Pro. Then, in the fall of 2004, he would return to ROH and rejoin Special K. However, Special K would soon break up, and Deranged joined a new group called Lacey's Angels, led by Lacey, which featured other former Special K members Izzy, Cheech, and Cloudy. They feuded with the members of Special K who did not join the group, such as Dixie and Azriael. At Back to Basics, Dixie and Azriael defeated Deranged and Izzy for the rights to the Special K name. In a later match, Deranged and Izzy defeated Dixie and Azriael with the stipulation that the losing team must break up. Deranged continued teaming with Izzy in a number of tag team matches. However, Lacey's Angels would soon begin losing many matches, which angered Lacey. She then replaced the current members with B.J. Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs, who would be known as the new Lacey's Angels. In Deranged's last ROH match, he teamed with Izzy and lost to the new Lacey's Angels. After this, Deranged continued to work for JAPW and other independent promotions.
