Deralakatte is a village on outskirts of Mangalore city in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka state in India.It was hillock with few population many years ago. It is on the way to Mangalore University , Konaje from the heart of Mangalore city. The village has slowly tranformed to a town with setting up of two medical colleges namely KS Hegde Medical Academy and Yenopoya .Indian software giant Infosys technologies is also a development software centre in this place.
