The Deptford Mall is a major shopping destination in Deptford Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey, United States. Owned and managed by the Simon Property Group, it is the county's only indoor regional shopping center. Opened in 1975, the fully enclosed mall is anchored by Boscov's, J.C. Penney, Macy's and Sears. The mall is located off of Route 42 and Route 55 at County Route 544. The mall has a gross leasable area of 1,300,000 ft², making it the largest mall in the Gloucester County region[1].
The mall opened in August 1975 with three anchor stores — Sears, Bamberger's and Wanamaker's — and 150 specialty stores[2].
