University of Paris VII: Denis Diderot

The University of Paris VII: Denis Diderot is a university in Paris, France.
The university was created in 1970 as the 13th of the 17 universities in the Île-de-France region; it took the name of Denis Diderot in 1994.
Currently, there are 2300 teachers and researchers, 1100 administrative personnel and 27 000 students. Available topics are humanities, science and medicine.
Presently based at the Jussieu Campus in the 5th arrondissement, the university is moving to a new campus in the 13th arrondissement. The first buildings will be brought into use in 2006.
The university uses many facilities in Paris, and two in other parts of France.
