Dennis Locorriere

Dennis Locorriere (born 13 June 1949) was the lead vocalist and guitarist of the pop group Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show.

Born in Union City, New Jersey, Locorriere and his group were the recipients of more than 60 gold and platinum albums, gaining No 1 chart status in more than 42 different countries. He is also a notable songwriter, as his songs have been performed by Bob Dylan, Crystal Gayle, and Southside Johnny.

Dennis tours as "The Voice of Dr Hook". He owns the rights of the original Dr Hook songs, having been the lead singer on most of them. His solo performances consist of a combination of old hits and new songs. Dennis has two solo CDs Out of the Dark and One of the Lucky Ones (2006).

His son, Jessejames Locorriere, is an actor who sings and writes for a group called The First Second.
