Dennis Bowman

Dennis Bowman joined KDKA-TV in January of 2005 as a freelance meteorologist. He generally appears on the morning and weekend newscasts.
He is well-known in Pittsburgh after spending 16 years at NBC affliate WPXI from 1984-2000 as the chief meteorologist. He has also worked in Saint Joseph, Missouri; Syracuse, New York; and Topeka, Kansas.
He also speaks to schools and community groups, offering a mix of meteorological demonstrations and ventriloquism. An avid ventriloquist, he wrote a book on the subject.
