Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School is a suburban public high school (grades 9-12) in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. It opened in 1957 and was expanded and renovated in 1979 and the early 21st century. It serves the Barnstable County towns of Yarmouth and Dennis and is the third largest high school (in terms of student population) on Cape Cod with approximately 1,200 students. It is located on 210 Station Avenue in South Yarmouth, south of the Mid Cape Highway (Route 6, Exit 8).

  • The school is known by its abbreviated name "D-Y High" or simply "D-Y".
  • The D-Y mascot is a Dolphin.
  • Approximately 30% of the students are of ethnic origins other than white.
  • Before the school opened, students in the district attended Yarmouth High School, which has since become John Simpkins Elementary School, serving grades 3-5.
  • D-Y was the first school on Cape Cod to employ a full time police officer, to provide, in addition to security, drug and alcohol awareness education, counseling on many issues, a liaison between the police department and the school and an overall role model for students.
