Denis Smallwood

Air Chief Marshal Sir Denis Graham Smallwood (born 13 August 1918, died 26 July 1997) was a senior Royal Air Force commander.
During World War II, Smallwood flew Hurricanes and in 1941 he was appointed Commanding Officer of No. 87 Squadron.
In 1974 Smallwood reached the pinnacle of his military career as Air Officer Commander-in-Chief Strike Command.
