Denim and Leather is the fourth studio album by heavy metal band Saxon released in 1981 (see 1981 in music).
This marks the third classic metal album in a row for Saxon, following the Wheels of Steel and Strong Arm of The Law. The album hit #9 on the UK charts, making them the quintessential band of the NWOBHM.
Both "Princess Of The Night" and "And The Bands Played on" are fan favourites, as well as the athemic title track.
