[edit] Merge proposals - various minor demons

Looking through the demon list, there are a lot of stubs - some of which are for characters with only one or two appearances. Accordingly, I'd suggest that all of the Six Fingered Hand stuff, all of the Octessence members (except Cytorrak, who's also tied into X-Men via Juggernaut etc) and a few of the other minor demons get merged. A subsection for each group on this page should be enough. I've omitted the Fear Lords from the merge proposal, as I'm really not sure how significant they are - and I've omitted Zom, for much the same reason. --Mrph 23:02, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Have you considered merging them to articles of their groups, ie, Six Fingered Hand instead? I'd support that. --InShaneee 23:13, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
  • I think there might be a case for doing that with the Octessence, but the Six-Fingered Hand are sufficiently obscure that they aren't really worth it. A couple of the others don't have a group to go to. Even with the Octessence, the best candidates for this, there's just one storylinr - the Exemplars - where they acted as a group (and then they acted entirely via mortal pawns, still staying offscreen...) --Mrph 23:17, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

  • At the moment I'm tidying up the Category:Marvel Comics cosmic entities, thereby creating subcategories, among them a subcategory for Octessence. So whatever the result may be, if the most members of Octessence are merged to other articles please also remove the Category:Octessence and all remaining links to it. As the Octessence only appear as a group for one storyline, The Eighth Day, I'm really not sure it's worth keeping 'em as an article of their own. I'll tidy up the category and links though; not a problem. --Mrph 21:59, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge proposal - 'Fear Lords (comics)' into 'Demons (Marvel Comics)'

I'm keeping this separate from the discussions above, as they're already completed whereas this is new. It's a stub, all of the individual fear lords were already listed on this page and they only acted as a group in one storyline - so I think it makes more sense to merge 'em into this article. --Mrph 00:08, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Several of the beings mentioned above are not Demons but Principalities, i.e. beings that grant unique spells to sorcerers like Dr. Strange, according to the latest OHOTMUs (such as the Vishanti which most definitely are *not* demons). Therefore I'm preparing an article titled Principalities (comics) for them. Sorry about being late to post this but my local comic book shop closed and it took me months to get the new OHOTMU issues. I hope nobody minds. It should be easy to transfer the material. -Wilfredo Martinez 18:09, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Some relationship tree should be created to illustrate the relationships between various characters- groups, teams, direct descendants, etc.
