IMDb profile

Demoni 2 (Demons 2) is a 1986 Italian horror film directed by Lamberto Bava and is co-written and produced by Dario Argento.

Demoni 2 is a sequel to Bava's 1985 film Demoni and stars David Edwin Knight, Nancy Brilli, Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni, and Argento's youngest daughter Asia Argento in her debut film performance at age ten.

In this sequel, Bava opted to use British New Wave bands such as The Smiths, The Cult and Art of Noise for the soundtrack as opposed to heavy metal bands in the original Demoni.

[edit] Plot Outline

A documentary is shown on TV about a group of teens who investigate the legendary forbidden zone, in which a Demon infestation once took place (see Demoni). Finding a lifeless corpse of a demon, one of the teens causes it to revive by its own blood, and the demon makes its way into the nearby world via the television broadcast. A girl, celebrating her birthday-party at the time, is possessed by the demon while watching the documentary and soon the apartment complex in which she lives turns into a living nightmare.
