The Democratic Party (Partai Demokrat) is a political party in Indonesia, was founded on 9 September 2001. Led by Prof. Dr. S. Budhisantoso, its ideology is based on Pancasila.

The party won 7.5% share of votes in the 2004 legislative election and finished in fifth place overall.

The party's nominated candidates the 2004 presidential election, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Jusuf Kalla won the the Presidency and Vice-presidency, respectively.
