There are various groups and publications called Democracy Watch throughout the world, including:
- Democracy Watch in Canada was established in 1993 as the first organization in the world called "Democracy Watch" and is one of the leading democratic reform citizen advocacy groups in the world focusing on issues of democratic reform, government accountability and corporate responsibility (for example, it's website is the #1 citizen group website in the world when Google is searched using the keywords "government ethics" or "honesty in politics" or "bank accountability"). It is a non-partisan, non-profit organization based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and is not affiliated in any way with any other organization called "Democracy Watch".

- Democracywatch, a development organization in Bangladesh
- Democracy Watch, a publication of the Transition Monitoring Group in Nigeria
