Demetres Koutsavlakis

Dimitris Koutsavlakis, (Demetres Coutsavlakis ) was born in Athens in 1977. When he was a teenager he used to study opera and afterwards he used to work as a male model. In 1997 he represented Greece at Manhunt International male beauty contest held in Singapore. Dimitris has lived in Hamburg and Milan where he worked as a fashion model for Giorgio Armani and Gianfranco Ferre.

In 2002 Demetres participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn Estonia, with the band ONE representing Cyprus with the song “Gimme” and finishing in 6th place.

In 1999 he was chosen by the successful Cypriot composer, Georges Theofanous, to be one of the members in the first boy-band of Greece, ONE. ONE became very popular and commercially successful in Greece and Cyprus, reaching platinum sales.
