You say "delivery point (also abbreviated DPB)". Say where the B comes from. --jidanni

It stands for Delivery Point Barcode. Since these digit generally do not appear in human-readable form in the address, they are almost exclusively associated with the POSTNET barcode in the US. Froese 18:51, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

In regards to the USPS, it is commonly abbreviated as DPBC. I don't believe I have seen it abbreviated to just DPB. Kenrus 21:45, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
