[edit] Stand-in Section header

I attend this school, and I was just reading this article. It is EXTREMELY biased against the school. I've fixed it up a bit to be more factual. Also, it was written very unprofessionally and I've tried to fix as many errors as possible. -Keith N

[edit] Wow, It Is Bad

Keith, you were right, and still are. This page, as is, speaks volumes about the current state of education at DV. Very little of the article is sourced, it uses clumsy sentence structure and non-standard grammar. I'll do my best to clean up those issues. In the meantime, here are some specific issues upon which I am taking immediate action:

[edit] Alma Matter

I don't know exactly what makes good high school article, but the only United States secondary school that is a Featured Article is Hopkins School. I doubt the DV article will ever look like that, but I think it's a good reference point.

While I am sure that the Hopkins School has a nice school song, it's not in their school article. And rightfully so, I believe. I also doubt that the lyrics are in the public domain or licensed under the GDFL, making their placement here a possible copyright infringement. Even if they are public domain or free to use under the GDFL, they may belong in Wikisource, but definitely not here.

[edit] "Recent" Poll

Without a date, this poll is worthless. If it had a date, it would be just above worthless. It seems it would be a very useful thing to have within the pages of DVWorld (already linked to in the article), and it borders on original research. D-Rock (Yell at D-Rock) 19:09, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
