Delta Sigma Iota (ΔΣΙ) is a South Asian Interest Fraternity founded on August 15, 2000.

Delta Sigma Iota, Incorporated was founded in August of 2000 in order to promote unity, spread truth, value education and integrate South Asian culture into our daily lives. A Fraternity that stresses the importance of culture, unity and academics and continually works to provide the South Asian community as well as elsewhere with assistance in any way possible.
Five unique men with five unique strengths combined in order to form the Delta Sigma Iota Fraternity. Vishal Desai, Vipul Patel, Roby Palakudy, Tarak Bhavsar and Rupesh Patel along with Chapter Advisor Benny Joseph, joined forces in order to create the first South-Asian based, Social Service Fraternity at Penn State University. Six years later as of April 2006, membership is 89 brothers at four prestigious universities.
