Delta Rho Chapter of Beta Theta Pi

The Delta Rho Chapter of Beta Theta Pi is a fraternal organization affiliated with the Beta Theta Pi international fraternity and based out of the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas. It was founded in 1967 and became an official Beta chapter on November 20, 1971.

[edit] Philanthropy

Heroes for Hope is a charity conducted by the Delta Rho Betas. Members and friends of the fraternity dress up as popular superheroes and visit terminally ill children at area hospitals. The heroes then hand out comic books and other surprises and pose for pictures with the children. In 1993, Heroes for Hope was featured on ABC's Good Morning America. The four minute segment was shot on location at the chapter house.
