[edit] Mission
The mission statement of Delta Chi Epsilon is "to improve the university and local community through its Brotherhood, community service, and our dedication of service to others [1]." This is aligned to Niagara's goal of "develop[ing] leaders who will make a difference in their local communities and the larger world [2]."
[edit] History
Delta Chi Epsilon has six founding fathers (defined as those men whose idea it originally was to found this fraternity on the Niagara University campus). They worked together throughout the 2001-2002 academic year to develop a new tradition in fraternities: one that formed a bond of brotherhood based on the common grounds of friendship and loyalty and one that furthered the noble fraternal traditions of philanthropy.
